In 1995, Bob Wong joined forces with an italian chef, to start a concept which hit KL by storm. The concept? A trendy fine-dining restaurant with abstract muriels, fascinating decor and a chic setting in a cozy ambience, coupled with an illuminated bar and the first of its kind "al-fresco" seating and dining area.

Modesto's became the talk of town and a popular venue for the "who's who" in kl and visiting celebrities. The concept was not the only ingredient for the success of Modesto's. Authentic and original recipes, fresh products, imported materials and many more, were amongst the key factors.

Modesto's has never looked back since and kept growing even during the bad recession days of the late 90's to the present day. Under the "hands on" management of Bob Wong and his management team, this "Malaysia superbrand" and multiple award winning restaurant will continue to grow for years to come....
